This is an Alpha release of the "MyPlayer3" project. The player is a bundle of ideas from traditional players to form an easy to use player with advanced features. It is hoped that this project will become a documented feature of the 'Man-machine Project' as a Python project.

 

MyPlayer3 Features

  • MyPlayer3 is a music player written in PyGTK using Gstreamer as a backend media engine. The project is still in Alpha but aims to provide a feature rich player with clean and clear easy to use graphical interface.

  • The player already supports popular formats such as MP3, MP4, M4A, WMA, APE, WAV, Wavepak and FLAC.

  • Features auto album cover retrival, Tag indentification and CDDB lookups. 

  • The player supports regular playlists such as M3U and PLS formats and drag and drop playlist building.
